After much preparation and buildup, Lapauw USA and our international colleagues are pleased to announce that Clean Show 2017 has been one of our busiest and most successful yet. With all the anticipation surrounding the show, Lapauw was excited to show the textile care community our new products and our new initiatives, and the visitors’ excitement was clearly evident. The President of Lapauw USA, David Bernstein, said:

“I’ve been coming to this show since 1983, and this was the most successful show I’ve ever had.”

Lapauw’s press release announcing our new tunnel washing systems created a lot of buzz around Lapauw, bringing the masses to our two booths to learn more about the announcement and to see our new and existing products. Lapauw quickly became the talk of the show.

There were extremely positive reactions to the new products that Lapauw announced at Clean 2017. Displayed at the show were the IronMAX, a gas heated ironer with redesigned aspects to enable the largest ironing surface possible; the IronPRO, a chest heated OPL ironer; and the FlexPRO, a towel folding machine that can sort up to three different sizes of products, fold them accordingly, and stack them in three separate piles.

Lapauw USA also saw a renewed interest in the Mediwave, a cleanroom washer-extractor that is the most hygienic and ergonomic machine on the market. Lapauw also saw a reinvigorated interest in the HotSTREAM, a world-renowned tunnel finisher that gives garments the perfect finish.

Perhaps one of Lapauw’s most popular events at Clean was our ‘Taste of Belgium’ event, where we served three different kinds of Belgian beer while talking to clients and colleagues. It was so popular on Monday night that we held the event again on Tuesday night, seeing just as many, if not more, visitors the second day.

The new products, and the renewed interest in some of the existing ones, brought many people to Lapauw’s booth at Clean 2017. The booth was always crowded, with people asking questions and wanting to see the products being showcased. Sales were brisk in the booth, leaving everyone feeling positive about the outcome of the show.

Philippe D’heygere, President of Lapauw International, was extremely happy, saying:

“The growth of Lapauw and its subsidiaries is a great achievement. The success we are seeing for Lapauw USA and Lapauw around the world is encouraging, and we cannot wait to see even more success and growth in the future, especially with our new tunnel washing systems.”

Lapauw USA and all of our colleagues are grateful for the success of Clean Show 2017, and cannot wait to see where the rest of the year, and the years following, leads us!
