May 25, 2016 — More than three dozen Special Event and Party Rental professionals from around the nation attended an Open House and Education Day today hosted by Lapauw USA, Rentals Unlimited, and PPC Events at the Rentals Unlimited location in Stoughton, Masschusetts today. Attendees had been invited to learn about the Lapauw Special Event Rentals Ironing Solution, learn from industry professionals who provided educational sessions, and to network with industry peers.
The day started with introductions and a welcome session by Lapauw USA’s President, David Bernstein who welcomed the group on behalf of himself and his U.S.-based team, as well as Lapauw International’s CEO Steven Renders and owner Philippe D’heygere. Attendees were then provided an in-depth tour of the Rentals Unlimited facility, led by COO David Price and Director of Operations Bob Bannister. Following the tours, David Bernstein provided attendees with an overview of Lapauw’s product offerings and value proposition, saying the company’s equipment, “provides the highest productivity and quality, with the lowest total cost of ownership.”
The educational sessions were led by Lapauw USA’s Sales Manager, Amanda Lobb, who provided an in-depth presentation on the features, advantages and benefits of the Lapauw Special Event Ironing Solution. Additional education sessions included Methods, Techniques and Management of Linen (presented by Ken Chambless of Seitz Chemical), 10 Keys to Flatwork Finish Quality (presented by Ty Acton of Tingue Brown & Co.), and Eliminating Bottlenecks for Process Improvement (presented by Chip Malboeuf of Turn-Key Industrial Engineering Services).
In addition to the educational sessions and tour, the group enjoyed opportunities for networking with their peers during the catered lunch, frequent refreshment breaks, and the group dinner at a local New England seafood restaurant.
